And a lovely 5.2 yards per attempt. Against a pretty good defense in a hostile environment.

It was his coming out party. Just in time to help a struggling LSU team notch a win.

    A king is born.

Yeah, it was very impressive given that FU is a good defensive team, especially against the run, and the play calling was so predictable. What more can you say when he has 14o yards and 2 TDs when they knew he was getting the ball every 1st nd 2nd down? Imagine what he could do if teams actually respected our ability to throw the ball.

He surpassed the Gators average run yardage allowed in a game. Dude is going to be special, let him get a year of experience, and some Moffitt training under his belt... you thought Richardson or Yeldon or gurley was good... shiatt.

This game showed those Adrian Peterson comparisons were dead on. He was beating those kids. ;)

The nonsensical predictions before the season were followed by way too early judging of his play in the first couple of games. So I'll wait a while longer before saying he is going to be a super stud, stud or dud. But he was impressive and I think we've only touched on a little of what we'll see in the future.

And I've been thinking that of he reminds me of any other RB with his style, build, quickness, etc it is Gurley.

Hope he doesn't sign any autographs while at LSU.

And this is his 7th game. He's the real deal and Tiger fans should look forward to more of this from him. The coaching staff made the right call to make him the featured back -- it certainly paid off last night.

It also says a lot about the left side of the O-line. That side is where he buttered his bread, so they deserve credit.

Dude he looks bigger than week 1. When he ran over those 2 defenders and pushed them both into the endzone on that first LSU TD I was like damn, he is starting to get that Spencer Ware violence when he runs.

The O-line deserves most of the credit for his performance last night but LF showed he is indeed a stud back. If only he could improve his balance and foot quickness....half the times he went down it was because he was trying to make a move and lost balance or lost momentum. Things are looking good if our O-line can continue to block like that.

He can sign all he wants as long as no $$$ exchanges hands.
