    I saw a report on ESPN that he was mulling an offer from Divison II Youngstown St.

    This was truely shocking to me, made me wonder if we are going to hear about some NCAA penalties soon. Definitely a step back though. Wonder if Oregon State knows he'll be leaving in a couple of years to coach a bigger, better, football program?

    Wisconsin does pretty well for a team that doesn't put a lot of money into it's program.

    Wiskey maybe a better job than Mich, better team?

    Barry Alvarez has his faults but there's no questioning his loyalty to the football program. That, versus an interim athletic director in Ann Arbor?

    Agree, but from a rebuilding standpoint, as a team, Mich may be down a little more.

    @TerryP that chart tells me that Michigan pays their players better but Wisconsin is more thrifty, better bang for the buck.

    Wisky is spending @ 4.5 million more per year. Michigan is spending more per players: with a smaller roster.

    I would guess that difference is found in game-day expenses.
