Really, then why did they keep all the senate seats sans 2. 1 of them being a large pro obama district? Sounds clear to me.
because districts in just about all states are hoplessly gerrrymandered toward one party, which is one reason why both sides have so few consensus builders and more partisan extremes, both ways This one's still playing out, lets see how well his policies do as we go on.
But but but Red's a moderate independent. Can he really be the leader of the libtards? He is the sharpest knife in the drawer though, for a umm moderate.
Moderates have no dog in this fight. Both extremes have room to compromise. Career public employees deserve collective bargaining or ephemeral elected politicians will always exploit them. But labor unions and their shut-everything-down strikes that are supported by all the other unions are unsuited to government employees where strikes can cripple a state. State civil service commissions usually have enough power to represent the employees interests, although many of them are also influenced by politicians with a personal agenda (Louisiana) and this must be addressed. The unions in Wisconsin are demanding that employees get free benefits, which is absurd. Public employees in Louisiana and most states pay for a significant portion of their benefits, as they do in private businesses.
Funny how your dog is always missing his right legs. If LA state employees want a better deal, let them find a real job in the public sector. Otherwise, they are represented just fine.
