Credit to Larry Scott for manning up and admitting it. It seems he also took some action to discipline them. If it had happened in the SEC, Birmingham would have said the zebs acted with perfect professionalism. Maybe for their next job they can be SEC refs.

    EXACTLY.

I watched this clip today on CFB today ... the whistle had blown, the WI guys were linging up to spike the ball, and the AZ player jumped on the ball and slept on it.

This was not WI fault. WI had plenty of time to spke the ball had the AZ Player not jumped on the ball. It was purely the Refs fault, and a delay of game should have been called on the AZ defense .... and 5 seconds or so should have been added back to the clock.

I am glad they admitted it.

    Doesn't help Wisconsin, however.

I just think the refs should have huddled and gotten the call right after the fact, not simply run off the field. But being that the call would go against the home team, they didn't have the guts to allow Wisconsin to kick a potential game winning field goal.
