Win over Georgia not a big deal...

fair enough. i thought LSU should have absolutely had at least 10 more points on the scoreboard by how much they absolutely dominated that first half. at least 10 pts. but, you know what, they still found a way to win the game. on the road. at a place we haven't won at in 22 years. there are a lot of negative things about this game, but i'm focusing on the positive man. this is a win that i'm going to savor a few days. at least.

 

I'm just confused when I read posts by guys like this. He hasn't a clue. Probobly no friends either and is trying to get people to respond to him. I've read several posts by this guy and they are all mostly negative. Cmon people, don't be another azzclown and humor this guy.

 

Again people... the OP that started this thread is the same guy that started this thread yesterday making it sound like the game versus Georgia was a huge deal.

A lot of people who don't like Les were trying to pimp the Georgia game as a game where we should all lose faith in the man if we lost. Now that we won, the same people are coming back saying oh, the game wasn't a big deal... blah blah blah.

Every prominent person has people that hate them, and Les Miles is no exception.

Beating any big time SEC team on the road is always a big deal.

 

This wasn't Miss St or Vandy. We went on the road in the SEC against one of the top teams, talent and tradition wise, and got the win.

Are there things to improve on? Of course. But we got the win and that's huge on the road.

I am faily critical person. But common...last year I was happy only 8 times.. only 8 times in the entire year (football happy). I am already happy 5th time this year. Enjoy every win guys. I was actually dancing with my 4yr and 2yr old boys when we scored the final TD. That's the pleasure I got out it and hope to get some more. Enjoy the moment.. :geaux:

 

Georgia is not that good this year. It's still a quality road win. I was very impressed with the offense in the first half.. just need to get points when we're in the redzone.

I really liked Miles call to go for it on 4th down, I didn't like the formation.. but I was shocked we didn't get it also.

 

That's some silly rationale you got there. It also proves that you know next to nothing about sports.

Forget the fact that BOTH of our :crystal: titles came with us BEATING the higher ranked opponent.

Forget the fact that #2 Texas beat #1 USC.

Forget the very fact that in '97, an UNRANKED LSU team defeated top-ranked Florida.

Ever hear the cliche': "Any given day"???? That wasn't intended on being something said about you when you come up with something intelligent.

If being the TOP ranked team means you can't lose, then why do we continue to play the season??? Just hand the :crystal: to the pre-season #1.
