Lets face it LSU was suppose to win this game and they did. Things that need to better... Option, Red Zone and the most obvious is throwing the ball before Jefferson gets sacked. The defense played a great game however they did not sack the QB one time. Miles couldn’t do much at the end of the first half as he was out of timeout’s so game clock mgm was not that big a deal. Miles did a great job of it at the end of the game. Jefferson is growing up. I like the 20 yard run plus he made some decent throws. Whats up with running every play from the shotgun? Scott decided he wanted to run the ball finally and didn't play FB one time numnuts. :geaux::geauxtige:geaux::geauxtige:geaux::geauxtige
i don't think LSU was supposed to win this game. LSU was a 2-3 point dog on the road. we dominated the game. maybe not the scoreboard, but LSU dominated UGA.
Georgia was a 3 point favorite. Winning the games you're "supposed to win" is not necessarily easy anyway - just ask USC, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, and the other teams that have been upset this year.
we didn't. but i thought this was better than three or four of five formations like we've been seeing. stick with one that your offense is comfortable with and use it.
lol. This thread from the same guy that started this thread just yesterday: http://www.tigerforums.com/tigers-den/89979-moment-truth-upon-us.html
I'd say that this was a big game for us. Last year we probably would have lost this game, and we've proven that we're not that team anymore. Even more importantly, we couldn't do much offensively the whole first 3 quarters, and then when we needed it, we were able to turn it on. Defense showed up when they needed to, Green's catch for a TD was phenomenal, and we won't see a WR as good as him again. Georgia is a good team, not great, but good. People compare this game to last years game against Auburn, but clearly the level of play of this game was much higher than that of last year's Auburn game. This was Jefferson's first taste of a big time SEC game, and best of all, it was away in a hostile environment. Not saying that we're a solid lock to win the rest of our SEC games, but we looked good at Sanford stadium.
Unfortunately the scoreboard is the only thing that matters in football. And the #4 team in the country should beat anyone that’s not ranked one two or three. If you got the chance to watch the Dogs play this year then you should have expected LSU to win this game by 14.
Maybe you should all bring your level of expectations up and act like we belong @ #4 Red. LSU is not lucky to be ranked #4 they deserve it and you should give them more credit or as people in new Orleans say crebik or debik...
