Tirk's highlights of Murphy make me absolutely excited for the season to get here!

He apparently had a great spring game. And he does look a lot like Harvey Williams out there.

Wow. Great highlight video (even better than your awesome new sig). I briefly looked for highlight videos of KW and CS, and couldn't find one. Anyone know of a good highlight video of KW or CS?

No, half of the time is an expression and doesn't truly equate to 50%. I wouldn't take that bet.:thumb: But I think my point is a valid one that our RB's tipped off several tendencies because we used them according to their strengths. We weren't running Holiday over big Herm on 4th and goal, we were using Hester for example. Well you get the point.

I read it, and what you said was that Keiland was the best pure RB.

"He is possibly the best pure running back we have..."

That is a big difference from best pure runner in the open field.

Last year's model did not improve any over the year before's. From what I've heard so far, this year's model is looking to be the same thing again.

We'll see. I just think you are making a mistake in writing Williams off before the season starts.

I'm not writing him off. He'll be an important part of the offense. I just doubt he'll get the bulk of the carries.

He clearly has a ton of potential & I'd love him to prove me wrong.

I think that Williams is the fastest. I recall when we were in a recruiting battle with USC trying to gain his services he ran a 4.3 something 40 yard dash at Hargrove with several coaches and media in attendence. I believe the 40 time was pretty accurate, (not electronically timed of course) but it was verified by a lot of coaches recruiting him at the time.

I think Williams is going to have a fine year, I also think Scott, Murphy and Holiday will have very good years as well. And I don't think we'll know who is going to get the bulk of the carries till the season actually starts and we get into the Auburn game. I am hoping that Williams, Scott and Murphy all average about 15 carries a game and Trindon about 5 plus the QB's getting their few. That would mean our running game is trucking!!!!!!!
