There was a article in the Times Picayune today about Murphy and how he lost both his parents. The article seems to indicate that he may be in the lead to emerge as the 1st team tailback as many on this forum have suggested. Remember he is just a sophomore so we could be seeing him featured for a few years. Other than injury, I think Murphy will be productive for us for a long time. He seems like a good kid concerning academics, behavior, no weight problems, etc. He has good vision and wiggle and I don't see him as a flash in the pan.
This is like comparing a Z06 Corvette to a Viper RTS to a 500GT Mustang! At the end of the day, any one of us would be happy to have any one of the above...but our garage happens to have ALL THREE! It's great to be a Tiger...
Fellers, we could have worse problems than the fact that our third-team running back is going to be a stud like Williams, Murphy, or Scott! And our fourth teamer is the fastest man in the history of college football. Plus, our fifth team running back can kick Chuck Norris' ass.
I've always been a big fan of Keiland Williams. He's had a couple of great years, but I think he'll burst onto the national scene this year. Guy's a beast.
