Just Curious. He told the interviewer that he would sign by this month and start preparing the bowl game with the team on Jan. It would be really awesome if he can actually play although I don't give it a big hope.:miles:
The article I read yesterday in the Advocate said he can practice, but can't play. Also can't travel with the team to the game.
They say he may play on the scout team for the bowl practices. How comfortable will Jefferson be with Mettenberger on the field?
How does that work with JUCO transfers? I know recruits can't "sign" until LOI day but if they enroll they would apparently be under different guidelines. Anyone know, specifically? Oh you are BAD! :hihi: More comfy than with J. Lee, I'm sure.
That's a good question. It occurred to me yesterday that, in a game that we need JJ and JL to be more focused than ever, will this be a distraction to them? Will this be something that shakes their confidence? With the threat of their replacement now on the same field, will they relish the competition and rise to the occasion or will they revert back to their horrible self's and be a weakness to the team, as has been the case for most of the season? I know, in JJ's case, the competition with JL has in some cases brought out the best in him. One can only hope with the arrival of Zack the same will happen now, for at least the Bowl game.
I think Jarrett Lee should start the game. JJ only plays well after Lee has been in the game. So start Lee, then bring in JJ.
Problem with that is they are holding out hope that he will have another 83 yd run like he did the first play of the UT game. For their reward he went downhill the rest of the game. I agree with you though, if they start Lee, JJ will come in and light it up. Hopefully!!!!!!
It's worth a shot right? Didn't Nick Saban do the same thing in the Cap 1 bowl, starting Matt Flynn with Randall and Jamarcus sitting? Of course that didn't work out very well if i remember correctly.
