Long passes are the only thing that got us close. Should have been going long on the first drive and kept it up all night. Troy has a subpar pass defense check their record yet we dont exploit it.
First off, it's Eaux. Second, Canada is calling the offense, O is just trying to do the right thing and accept ultimate responsibility. Third, playing Brosette on that play seems kinda dumb.
It was 10 years ago. But it's clear today that it was very relevant and Alleva totally botched the whole thing. Eaux was a compelling candidate; should've gotten an outside opinion, Alleva was too close to see the forest apparently.
I think he was just lazy and didn't give a rats ass. That and he saw an opportunity to save money. The money thing makes sense, especially after the 6-2 finish. But why the high buyout?? That painted us in a corner.
