all the talk of need for change has me wondering, will people on tf be voting out their incumbent? or is change for "the other guy" because "my representation is fine".

i have also narrowed the questions to dem/rep. is making change ok as long as it is the other party that gets changed? or do they all need to go?

i was going to make the poll public. but i changed it to private so if you dont want to put your vote where your mouth is, no one will ever know. :hihi:

I have already voted in the primaries, and I did not cast one vote for any incumbent. Although some I did vote for were career politicians (just tryin to move up to the next level).

Kind of a tough one to answer for me. The Representative for my district is now running for Gov. I will not be voting for her because she voted for the bail outs. A friend of mine is running for the seat she vacated and is ahead in the polls and that is who I will vote for. Given the chance I will vote out any incumbent I can. Congress needs an eneima.

As far as I'm concerned, if they are an incumbent they get run. Period.

Just found out that Tom Coburn voted for the bailouts as well so I will be voting against him as well. It won't matter because he will win re-election in a landslide but I will stick to my guns.

I would have voted mine out, but I am leaving TX. I don't even know anything about the guy in Mandeville. Don't know who he is yet.

Unfortunately to vote out my incumbent I would have to vote in someone who may not be the best person for the state, but I think that getting rid of my incumbent would do wonders for the country.

That bastard. If there had been no bailouts, I would have lost my job and would collect unemployment forever.:angryfire

I just wish voters would look at what their respective incumbents have done, and not just listen to what they say they will do.

With the internet today, it is ridiculously easy.

They all vote for the party and not for the constituents. We need a total cleansing.
