jesus christ dude. you are very close to going on my ignore list. no offense. but jarrett lee is a friggin' kid who put his ass on the line for YOU to sit here and blast every single thing the kid does! it takes an awful lot for me to call someone out like this on a public forum. an awful lot. :angryfire

plus, i know i'm not the most intelligent poster on the forum. but would it hurt to pick up the little, brown handbook for a quick browse? sheesh.

I never said I was illiterate, everyone makes typos and I am sure spelling errors too, I merely pointed out that it didn't seem to be a huge problem in my life.

I doubt I'd be very impressed. A person that has to pump themselves up on the net by correcting spelling errors is pretty sad IMHO. go grade some HS papers..... hows that pay scale working for you? here's a good tip for Lee, dont try to spell on tiger forums and you will be just fine. LOL sheesh

I HOPE the kid does great....I would love nothing more then to be proven wrong in this line of thinking. That would mean that someone rose to the challenege set before them

But just because I feel that way does not make this side of the debate non existent, I just chose not to ignore it.

 

well if you would have just said that, i'd have no qualms. maybe it was all of the unnecessary banter that got in the way. i'm paraphrasing here, but i'm pretty sure you said something to the effect that "lee's days as a Tiger have come and gone and he should never, ever be given another chance." again, paraphrasing. everyone has their opinion, it just seems like you are not even willing to give the dude any chance at redemption. all i'm saying is that there is the probability (note that I did not say possibility,) there is the probability that JL will be much improved. i just don't understand how people cannot see this. i mean, put the cookie monster back there for pete's sake and if he can manage the game and produce points, then great! so, JL had a knack for pick-sixes. maybe he can get worse, maybe he can get better, i'd just like to see what the KID can do when he's actually ready to lead an offense. i don't think that anyone is really saying that lee will be God-incarnate, only that the dude is at LSU for a reason -- he's a good QB. that's all.

I'm hoping everyone would be nice to one of our players that is out there trying their hardest. The coaches' jobs are on the line if we don't win. They put the best person at the time on the field. Last year a redshirt freshman was thrown out there along with LSU's worst defense in a decade. This put us in far more predictable passing situations than we are used to. I also recall not seeing a great effort on the receivers end on some beautifully thrown balls by Lee. I'm not saying he didn't make poor passes and decisions, I just don't think he deserves to be treated they way many fans are treating him. I think he has a lot of potential and I'm pulling for him to be successful.
