We lose Bo, we probably lose CLM, we lose to Ark, we lose MF. We may look back as last Friday as a true "Black Friday" if you are a LSU fan but the black friday is more like a bad cloud than something positive.

This could be the beginning of some painful times for LSU football. I'm hoping we can name a HC soon that can save this recruiting class. I just want this CLM thing settled this week so we can go get a person that wants to be here more than 3-5 years.

I can assure you that we will get a very very good coach out of this.

There may be a hiccup in recruiting for this season but with the talent in Louisiana for next years class we will be just fine.

I see this change as a positive. If nothing else this season has elevated the exposure of the program.

I'm sure we will get a good coach. It would be nice to get a very good coach that calls LSU "my dream job".

    Zactly. This too shall pass.

The only thing that bothers me is impact on recruiting and Michigan has so far done everything it can to reduce the impact on that (besides pass up the coach they want, which noone should expect them to do).

Or we could be SEC Champs, Preseason top 10, and looking to stay there for the foreseeable future.

Cheer up, you're in the middle of the best stretch of LSU football. Ever.

No doom and gloom, the LSU Tiger football program not have a problem getting great coaches, no matter what happens this year. Its now an elite school so quality won,t be a problem...Hell, dial in the right factors and they may be better next year than this one. Who knows.

Do you think that Les will be able to recruit Louisiana if he takes the job at Michigan? (Can he recruit talent away from LSU?)

Does he have enough ties to LA talent?

Imagine what it must be like to be an Alabama fan right about now. With the revolving-door leadership and the on-and-off-the-field struggles, the last thing they want to see is another coaching search.

At least LSU has a phenomenal cadre of players that compete at a high level ..... be thankful.

P.S. I'm beginning to think that hiring a Sexton client to be your HC is a lot like dealing with Scott Boros ..... no matter the outcome, the antics aren't worth it.

We have a coach. He's a great one and he will be on the field today with my Tigers playing for the SEC Championship!

(and returning home to a stadium that will be there waiting. LOL).
