I said prospects meaning some entered the NFL as Free Agents as well but I am not sure of the exact number. Maybe closer to 20 but I will work on a list after True Blood tonight.

I have counted 31 from the 2000 roster. The ones with -- following the player are guys who were recruited by both Dinardo and Saban and most of them were on board before Saban arrived on November 30th. I left Lavalais and Mauck off the list because both were persuaded by Saban to join the team.

Maybe someone with fresh eyes can go over the roster once more to see if I left anyone off or added someone who didn't belong in the list.

9 years later, 13 of those guys are still on NFL rosters by my count....pretty impressive. DiNardo was a tireless recruiter, and he built numerous in-roads around this state that Saban benefitted from, and are still being taken advantage of by The Hat.:milesmic:

    NFLers:
Clark, James, Webster, Gay, Reed, Henderson, Alexander, Green, Jones, Royal, Green and Peterson

Half point for Nall who is with UFL Orlando Tuskers

Half point for Toefield is going to play in the UFL in New York

Jerel Myers earns a half point for playing in the CFL with the BC Lions

Tenth of a point for Rohan who would be playing in the AFL if they didnt shut down for a year

Marcus Randall gets .00001 of a point for being on the All American Football League's Team Arkansas

So by my calculations: 13.60001 players are in the NFL by my calculations :D

Edit: Norman LeJeune was left off the list and is with UFL Redwoods so make it 14.100001
Kenderick Allen was also left off... who is with Minnesota for the time being so add another full point... 15.10001
Abram Booty played in Cleveland for a while

Thanks for looking over it. I added the 3 players to the list which comes out to 29 instead of 26.
