Tiger had the low round yesterday (66) and missed a couple easy birdie opportunities. Still, the rest of the tour has to be concerned because there aren't many who can go low on Sunday with the title on the line. I always thought the 11 wins streak was as unbeatable as the 56 game hitting streak, but, unless Vijay gets hot, no one else will stop his streak.
Vijay appears to be done. He's up there in age (42/43?) and isn't playing good golf lately. I think Mickelson is the one who could break it.
Vijay won the 1st tournament he played in this year. With his work habits, he'll be dangerous this year, at least. Mickelson appears to have lost his drive (not the golf shot one). I don't think he wants to push Tiger anymore.
Vijay made the cut, but finished in the middle of the pack. Two guys come to mind that I don't think fear Tiger and could stand the heat of a back 9 battle on a Sunday afternoon. Jim Furyk & Chris DiMarco.
Looks like Tiger's streak may come to end today at the WGC Match Play Championship. He's down 3 to Nick O'Hern after 9 holes...
