anyway, i guess i have the answer to my original question. The Tea Party is going to destroy the GOP. Just wait and see what happens when these lunatics take office, O'Donnell, Palladino, Iott, etc.... the list goes on and on.

in what conext is the question? if his point is that every nazi soldier is not a jew-murdering scoundrel, and that some soldiers barely know what is happeneing and just have national pride, then i agree with him. i understand that the SS is more hardcore, but again, i havent heard the whole discussion in context. i have however heard the guy say the obvious and proper things about nazis.

seriously, what do you yhink are the odds that the dude is a nazu sympathizer? that doesnt make sense, why would he hate jews? nobody even really bothers to hate jews anymore, cept blacks and arabs.

Is it being misconstrued? Voters consider a lot of things including good judgement. He should have played the guy in the RAF jacket and kilt, Laddie.

Others wonder what drives a guy to make a hobby and gain great enjoyment from dressing up like an SS officer. He's probably lost the Jewish vote. His Teutonic saga will all come out now, innocent or bizarre. I figure his leather Nazi prostitutes will break under interrogation first, Ja?

well i dunno how they are gonna do re-enactments without somebody playing the nazis. i guess they have to find people who dont mind that lasalle is unable to understand the idea of a "costume"

do you even read anything i type? for the umpteenth time. I DO NOT CARE WHAT THAT DUDE WEARS!!!!!! The only thing I was trying to say is that it's kind of hypocritical for the Tea Party to accept a guy who wears Nazi costumes, and praises the 5th SS Panzer division, and at the same time, be homophobes, and degrade homosexuals.

once again, are you aware of what a "costume" is? once we get past that, we can move forward.

so to be clear, at this point all i want from you is a yes or no about whether you understand the concept of costumes.

once for Halloween i was a ghost. you understand that this does not mean i can pass through walls or that i have any of the abilities or beliefs associated with ghosts?

perhaps we should address why it is "hypocritical" for the teaparty guy to wear costumes. is it the official policy of the tea party that costumes are to be illegal or somehow banned or wrong. perhaps they think it is hard to understand and leads to confusion?

also, just a bit of advice. halloween is coming up. please try not to be frightened when people wear attire that misrepresents their beliefs or capabilities. do not, for instance throw a baby off a skyscraper if a guy with a superman cape is nearby. he might not actually be able to rescue the baby. tricky i know. you are probably thinking, "well then, einstein, if he cant fly, then why is wearing the cape?". just be patient, with time comes understanding.

So is most of the garb worn at the gay pride parades. That's all i'm trying to say. Once again.... I don't give a damn what he wears. That doesn't seem to be sinking in. And I don't think it would be newsworthy at all if the guy wasn't running for office, and now that the RJC is on his ass, along with Eric Cantor, he is screwed.

So for the final time, i don't care what he wears, or dresses up like, as a matter of fact, no one should. I started talking about this as a joke, and then i threw in the fact that the same people that say dressing up like a nazi is ok are the same people that say a man dressing like a woman is not ok.

hopefully the bold italic underline will get through this time.

assuming somebody says that, i dont see how it is hypocritical. nazis and women are not the same thing, so in theory one could appreciate dressing up like one and not like other. yunno because those things are not the same things. like for instance i approve of you wearing a tuxedo to my wedding, but not a speedo. yunno because those are two different things. see how that works?

No one is arguing his right, just his common sense. Most of the Germans we fought in World War II were in the Werhmacht, the German Army. That would work for re-enactors.

But the SS . . . the political army of the Nazi party, The Malmedy massacre of US POWs, the Holocaust death camp guards, etc. . . . Do they reenact the genocide, too? It's not something you want to make your hobby and then try to be a politician. It screams fascist fascination.
