If you go to their website they have officially named groups that have awarded a national title. It's official selector, or something like that. Colley Matrix is one of those and that's the body UCF is hanging their hat on. It's on the official NCAA site. By the groups that they recognize, Bama could claim up to 21 titles. There are many schools that could claim more.

I am well aware of all that but it doesn't change my comment. The NCAA has never officially selected nor endorsed a NC football team. Naming services who do on their website is nice but it would be like the Miss America pageant not naming a winner but telling you who each judge thought should win.
