I was kind of hoping Les had a heartfelt talk with his team, told them he was stepping down immediately then told Alleva to kiss his ass. Peveto is promoted to interim head coach for A&M game. He could coach game with no socks just like Hal Hunter.Hell we've earned some comic relief after another horse shit season.

Best head coach we ever had. You don't argue with the stats.

I would have been on board with this a week ago, but not now when it looks like Chavis was the first move in Alleva's plan to get rid of Les. Chavis understood what was really going on and bailed. Could be some interesting details leaked if his case goes to trial. I now think that by the end of last season Alleva was already plotting to fire Les at the first opportunity. The 7-0 start probably complicated his plans.

I was pissed at Chavis and blamed him for the bowl loss. Thought his timing was terrible and loyalty not worth a crap. His wife tried to defend him in the media, saying he loved LSU. With what's gone down this past week, I think we now have a better idea of what really went down.
