RichRod is history. He'll be RUN outta Michigan, if not this year, next year. He DOES NOT have the personel to run his type of offense, especially a QB.

I do believe Michigan will go after Miles again. I don't think Miles will even consider it unless he has a very long heart-to-heart with Michigan's AD. I've heard from someone close to RichRod that Miles let it be known how pissed he was after the ESPN leak fiasco. Is it possible for Michigan to mend the fences with Miles? I'd think it was possible, not probable.

As for the coach's salaries, I think Skip Holtz is the most underrated coach on the list. I'm impressed with what he's done with subpar talent and no speach impediment. And I hope Urban Meyer is smart enough to renegotiate a bad deal. What's he gotta do to get paid?

This thread, and a few others like it, make me laugh. They would typically frustrate me, but some of the responses are so ridiculous...all I can do is laugh.

You mean to tell me...in a year with a new DC AND system...personnel moving from one position to a completely different position, and a 19 year old QB playing behind a young inexperienced line...we are in the top 10...with a very good chance to win 11 games against an SEC schedule, our only losses to #1 and #2...BOTH GAMES WE COULD HAVE WON...and Les Miles is still being criticized??

I admit and eat my crow...I was unhappy at the beginning of the season with the type of football I saw. However, with the obvious improvement everywhere, and seeing an LSU team that plays hard all game long, I have been very happy as an LSU fan for the past month. I guess that doesn't go for everyone.

Before the UF game, I thought there was no way we were the real #4 team in the country. After the game, I knew I was right about that. However, the improvements and adjustments made since that game have converted me into a firm believer that, in fact, we ARE likely the #4 team in the country. If we should win out thru the bowl game, with our SOS, we will likely finish #2 or #3 in the country. Let's hope we can find a coach to do better...that's ridiculous.:rolleye33:

I agreed with your post until I got to here.
This is about the most childish post I have ever read here.
First of all I don't believe there are any haters on this board and second of all if there were, every fan base has fans that you could put in that category.
Even UM believe it or not.
Second, The coaches no that some fans aren't happy no matter what.
They do a really good job of ignoring a lot of the media and others out there.
Les is a man, he can take it and ignore it!:)

I also laugh about this stuff.
What makes anyone think Saban would ever come back to LSU?
Knowing the kind of guy he is I don't believe he would ever come back.
Why should he, he is at one of the best traditional programs in America.
    Just stupid!

A lot of fans including myself wouldn't want to have Saban back anyway.

I take what I said back, this is the most childish post I've ever read.
I guess these are sarcasm otherwise I don't get it for reasons I stated above.
Its interesting that we can't just talk football or sports at times in this forum because people seem to
    get offended easy?

Dude I hope you realize that my post was sarcastic. There is no way in hell that I would want Rich Rod's hands over the LSU football program, much less I consider Miles tenure here as a failure. To the contrary, he has been extremely succesful and I'm proud what he has accomplished and the way he stands up for his players and for the university.

Dude...stop it. I was AGREEING with you...laughing at some others. I knew what you were saying. I give you :thumb::thumb: for your post!!

FWIW, I was already a fan of Les Miles...and then he gave the speech right before the SECCG. He had me at "Have a GREAT day"!!!

THEN...the '09 recruiting class happened. We lost a couple of players that I wish we could've gotten...but we still landed at worst the #2 class in the country...at best, #1. But the kicker for me was when 1/3 of the new class was in school prior to NSD...early enrolless/qualifiers, and the ENTIRE class qualified in time for the start of the season. That, my friends, is what makes Les Miles a great coach and better recruiter. He is recruiting kids who are both elite athletes, but also high character and willing to put in the work in the classroom. As fans, we sit back and wonder sometimes why he's filling the class up so fast...but do we look at the young MEN that he's recruiting? Take a look at their GPAs...impressive. I no longer question his judgement or claim he's made a mistake when he decides to not take a commit from a Storm Johnson, then takes one from Spencer Ware or Sam Gibson. I trust the coach all the way on that decision...no question.

No doubt the speech before the SECCG was awesome. Also, it took a lot of character to do what he did with Perriloux. CUM would've suspended him for the first half against a team like Florida Atlantic or something like that.

As to Rich Rod, he deserves another season at Mich, its not his fault, Lloyd Carr had good thing going with a great quarterback who had to transfer because Carr was fired.

My whole point of paraphrasing what the ESPN talking heads said a couple of weeks back was that once again they want to stir the pot with conjecture. It's ridiculous.
