Michigan is 5-5 with a road game against Wis. and at home against Ohio state. If they lose both those games and miss a bowl game again does Rich get canned? I know its only his second year, but Michigan is tanking again after one of their worst seasons in history. My question is if the Mich. job is open again do you think Les jumps at the chance this time?
:geaux: Yeah, the ones who have man-crushes on Saban and are pining for him to come back somehow.:rolleye33: :LSU231:
No way Les Miles leaves this program. We are a top 5 program and he is a very good recruiter. Are there better coaches out there than Les Miles, I believe so but why would he leave this situation? My guess is he will be here until we ask him to leave or he retires.
We might have an offensive coordinator's spot open at season's end. Just saying.... :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
I would love to think Les will never leave, but he almost left before. If it had been different with the espn leak during the SEC championship game or if we lost they game he may have been gone He is a Michigan alum and a Bo disciple so why would he not chase his dream. He may be tired of the haters on this board and in tiger land who give him hell for doing nothing, but winning.
I really feel if Miles was going to Michigan he would have in 2008, I think he is at LSU for a long time...I hope he is anyway......JMHO
Every time he cashes his LSU paycheck, that all fades from memory. All the coaches in the Big 10 put together don't pull down the money Les makes here. Plus it's much easier for him to win with SEC talent than Big 10 talent. No, I don't think he's here for life, that would be foolish. But it would be even more foolish for him to even consider another job.
