I have always been a Muschamp supporter and with him gone Auburn is not gonna be the same. Texas will get a big boost from him being there, he hasn't coached talent like that since he was at LSU.

I never really thought about that, did we even make an offer to him?
We had a lot of success when he was here, but maybe without Saban here, he would not have come back...

Chizik made the same move recently and it's translated into a HC job for him quickly.

That was before I knew TB3 was looking for work. Hog pens or TB3 farming would both serve the same purpose.

TB3, I will PM you what this is really about.:thumb:

$ and the chance to follow Mack Brown. UT has deep pockets. If UT gives him a reasonable raise from the $350k he's reported to be draggin' in at AU, he'll probably be one of the highest paid assistants in the country.

As for Texas giving him a Jimbo-type deal, I can't see Deloss Dodds doing that, he's way too puckered up. Then again, Deloss has done some dumbass things (John Mackovic comes to mind).

Things are quiet on this topic this morning. The only facts are that WM has interviewed with UT. All reports saying it was a done deal were wrong (what's new with them). WM may go but apparently has not made a decison yet.

Tubs was aware WM was going to interview with Texas (Texas to their credit asked permission). I suspect Tubs and WM are talking since Tubs fought hard for a raise for him and other asst's. I hope WM stays but I can understand him wanting to get broader exposure in his quest for a HC job. He now has friends at Georgia, LSU, Auburn, etc., so making a few more won't hurt. If he leaves I wish him the best. He has earned his pay while at Auburn.

You guys quit thinking about WM and focus on something more important right now.........geaux roast some buckeyes.
