We have enough problems with what we have ---thank you very much!!!!!! We can die whenever we want to and don't have to wait until we are in the second half or up by 21. (Like that happens a lot around here) :grin:
I think Miles' buyout for him to go to Michigan is actually substantially larger... unless that was a rumor. I think it's possible for this team to really improve and win 9-10 games this season. But regardless of what happens, no way Miles leaves on his own accord after one season.
Carr will be gone from UM before Miles gets to a point where they would hire him... Michigan will hire someone marquee, as we should have done. Miles' career will go one of two ways.. he will suceed and either stick around or move up to the NFL... or he will fail and move down as a head coach, same level as a coordinator, or up as a position coach...
Miles has a buyout clause in his contract. He owes LSU $500,000 if he leaves LSU for another school. He owes LSU $ 1,500,000 if he leaves for Michigan. This tells me that Les has privately told LSU that he would only leave LSU for his alma mater, so LSU bought a litttle extra insurance.
