Ummm....I don't know how you got mixed up, but clearly you did. When LSU's offense is eating clock and marching down the field it becomes LSU's defense's best friend. I'll give you the wet conditions comments. I'm sure the ball and field being wet were affecting both his throwing and the receiver's catching. I THOUGHT I remembered his downfield passing being more on target last season. I'm sure it will be better in more favorable conditions.
Sorry. Evidently I read your post too quickly and didn't make the connection. I thought you were implied that our offense would be the defenses' best friend if they went ball control.... (don't ask how/why I thought that...) :redface:
