I believe they do play Tejas. I think they demolish Kansas. They lost to OU in the Big 12 CG...or do they? Remember? Chokelahoma? Either way, let's say they wind up in a real bowl game. They'll finally have their lack of defense exposed.
I'll give it a 50/50 shot they will jump Missouri in at least 1 of the polls because: 1. Way more people saw the LSU/Auburn game. 2. It was a road win vs a Top 10 opponent. 3. We are higher profile team.
I think it's to our advantage to play them later this season. We're still working out our QB situation and we'll be better on offense by then. If they get banged up they could start to slide like last year. After MSU, we're on the road at Florida, at South Carolina, and then home against UGA. If we survive those, I don't think we'll have to worry about the rankings.
As we've seen last year, it's too early to worry about rankings. As long we stay in the top 10, our schedule will provide the ammo to move us up as we win. No doubt we will be in the top 5 with 1 loss, but I don't see this being a year where you can make it with 2 losses. No way things work out in our favor again. So we need to keep winning. Hopefully Lee will keep gaining confidence and lead this offense to great year.:LSU231:
There SHOULD BE NO WAY Bama jumps us playing an Arkansas team that struggled against ULM, and us beating the #10 team in the nation in their house. I know strange things have happened, but if that happens I will have to just take up watching old people play horseshoes and forever banish college football from my life.
