yeah - it got ugly when the Bulldogs decided they'd had enough crap from Fairley and went after him. Stupid Aubies now have two linemen who won't be able to play the first half of the Bammer game. But Fairley is dirty and should have been flagged numerous times today. I can understand UGA's frustrations. Shame they didn't kick his ass.
Why the hell should we? When we so often win ugly every LSU fan is saying that a win is a win and we shouldn't be overlooked because Boise, TCU, and Oregon routinely put up sexy 50 point wins. Doesn't that go both ways? Now that LSU has blown out a nobody and both TCU and Oregon had a close wins, they shouldn't get any less respect than LSU got after pulling magic out of our butts to barely scrape past a bad tennesse team. It's kind of hypocritical that some want style points to count now that the Tigers won in a blowout and the guys ahead of us won ugly. LSU shouldn't jump anyone ahead of us unless they actually lose the game.
Because neither Boise St. nor TCU belong in the top 5 of major college football. No more than Utah belonged last week.
Unfortuately for us, lots of people who aren't LSU fans whose opinions "matter" more than ours consistently disagree every single week so there they are and will stay until somebody knocks them down. Hopefully we'll get the chance to prove it during bowl season. Utah got exposed today and they'll pay for it dearly in the polls.
I want Boise in the sugar. I want the illusions to end! Personally, I'll take 12-1 and whipping Boise's ass.
Boise State has shown consistently they can hang with the top teams, them losing in a bowl game really won't prove anything other than they weren't the better team in that instance.
Once a year is "consistently"? Because that's how often they play the "top teams". Like #20 VT this year.
Maybe you don't listen to the same radio stations I listen to but they are definitely backed. Not sure what you mean by the better team since they have been to the bowls and beat Oklahoma and the dumbasses put them and TCU together last year. In other words, I think Boise gets the sympathy vote throughout the country so I would love for LSU to play them in the Sugar.
