I think it all depends on who returns next year. Yes LSU recruits extremely well but most of those youngsters dont have the experience. I think Hunter can become a star but that remains to be seen. Rasco and others who would be replacements will have to step up with a lot of improvement. Im sure we will field a solid D no matter what, but will be it be championship material? Mills and Collins should show some improvement, plus Simon returns. So the DBs should be better despite probably losing Reid.

THe O should be the best its been in a while. With Mett steadily improving, plus a healthy OL. THe OL should be strong with the return of Faulk and others. We should be able to maul teams and contorl the LOS. THen we come to an improving WR core. The strength of the O will be the RBs. Hill, Blue, Ware, Hilliard, and Ford. Each would start and be a 1,000 yard back for many teams. The thing I like most is they are all team players. I alos love the fact they dont do like nearly every RB does and look to get out of bounds at first opportunity. They lower their shoulder to fight for yards.

Technically, no. LSU didn't lose any games in 2011. They are up to three loses in 2012.

Depending upon when in December. If LSU would have been awarded the conference title without having to play Georgia and Alabama would have had to play its way into the BCSNCG by beating Georgia instead. Have the CG the following weekend and LSU may very well win...maybe even against Okie State instead of the Gumps.

Certainly there are games we've lost that we should have won. However, there are also games we've won that we should have lost. It all evens out in the end.

Well said and as noted before the sainted Nicky Satan averaged 3 losses a year and was good for being out coached by Houston Nutt and had at least one loss he shouldn't have and on top of that had some whoppers like UAB and his valedictory Capital One Bowl.

To hold LEM to a higher standard is ridiculous and really shows the dreamworld some of his critics inhabit.

That is a ridiculous standard to hold. Well then why don't you compare him to God? Although he lost a game or two he shouldn't have to the devil.

BOT. The Special Teams should be good again next year. Wing should return along with Keehn and Hairston. We also have another PK'er Colby Delahoussay. I have seen Brad Wing's brother play a few times, he's one to keep an eye on, only a Jr. this year. We return all PR and KR's, but Travin Dural is one I'd like to see get a shot.
