Then your reading comprehension is terrible as well. I said the backs you listed were not LF and Guice elite. Which they weren't. THEN, I told you to re-read my 1st comment in which I said we have had elite backs before and when we have elite backs, we ALMOST ALWAYS have a 1K rusher...... You know, in other words, I am saying I think we have 1-2 more elite backs on our roster this year.... Maybe its hemorrhoids with you two. I dunno.
So in other words, because this was too difficult, anytime I have watched LSU and we had an elite recruit at RB, we have had a 1K rusher. Ware and Ford came in highly rated, but IMO, they never truly performed at what I would consider elite. To me game changing is elite, but like I said, 2011-2012 was the last time I remember a true committee approach where different backs would pop off during a different week.
No. You said: "LF and Guice elite? No. They were, however, very good." Forgetting about Guice for the moment, Fournette is a once in a lifetime RB. Ask Georgia about some guy named Herscel Walker, 6 years before you were born. He never averaged as many yards per carry & never had a 1,900+ yard season either. Fournette is/was a lot like Herscel & he won the Heisman trophy in 1982.
Yea see, you lack the comprehension skills i was talking about and/or you forgot what I was replying to... Here, let me hold your hand... So again, I was comparing the backs you listed to not being LF and Guice Elite... Which, btw, I would think EVERYONE here would agree with that. Elite is a big word. I tend not to throw it around a lot. "They" in this case was referring to the subject of "your" question...... (AKA, Ware, Hill, etc)
But your opinion & presumably 2013's @Fishhead opinions are very, very limited & what looks to me like NFL players being directly compared to College players. Can't really do that fairly. Spencer Ware was not a "Flashy" runner, but was the starting RB on a 13-1 team. LSU currently has 5+ NFL running backs in the NFL, including the ones I mentioned. Spencer Ware was very highly ranked. Michael Ford was a 4 star scatback type RB at LSU. 200lbs soaking wet. Why the went undrafted. https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2010/spencer-ware-12087
But you did say Fournette & Guice were nit elite as well. You're trying to walk it back now...nobody is fooled.. You can say what you want about the 3 REvs on those teams I listed. Actually listed 5. But you know what? That pretty fucking impressive that all 5 of those Running backs on those 2 teams at the very least., got picked up by an NFL team fir at least 1 seadon. Mire impressive is that 3 are still playing. Do you have any idea how rare that is? Name a few teams in your short life that have put 5 RBs in the NFL, from back to back teams.
For example, Ware, while very good at LSU NEVER had a season as good as Hill did in 2013. Look at Wares YPR. Sub 4 some years. CEH has higher. CEH is elite?
No I didn’t. I just spelled it out for you. You lack some cells it seems. I said the backs you listed where not LF and Guice elite. Meaning, if you are going to call Ware elite, then LF and Guice are goats.
