There's no reason to think he won't. Given his track record as second fiddle in Oklahoma, and arguably 6th or 7th fiddle in the Big XII, he should be just fine w/ LSU.

With committments from Jacob Cutrera and Al Woods on the H.S. level and big Anthony Boudreaux from JUCO already lined up we've got a great start. There is quite a good amount of talent in Louisiana this year like Chaz Washington, Jai Eugene, Ricky Dixon, and the huge amount of running backs in state this year. If Les is able to keep the best talent in state and goes into Texas, MS, and Florida and steals some we should be in the top 5 come February.

Anyone else heard anything about Chaz Washington lately? I know Miles wants him to play OL and he wants to play DL, so he wasn't showing as much interest in LSU as most would think. I also heard that at one point he was real close to commiting to Oklahoma. Think Miles will budge? The kid is a talent (although probably not at the same level as Woods), but I wouldn't mind if we lost him (considering our talent already at DT and with Woods and probably Shaw coming in), but I think his decision will have a lot to do with what Jai Eugene does, and Eugene should be our RP this year. He is probably the most talented player in Louisiana (sorry Ricky Dixon) and he would fill maybe our biggest need at CB, it would hurt if he went somewhere else.

Miles will get Eugene I think, I think he already has the DL's he wants and if Chaz doesn't change his mind he will end up at OU or elsewhere.

The OU scout site says that Washington will give OU a verbal at the end of spring practice around the 20th.

Chaz could be a real explosive pass rusher with his athleticism, but if Miles only wants him at OL and he doesn't want to come to LSU then that is fine.

Cajdav, do you know if we are going to offer Shaw? I'd prefer him over Washington, guy is huge, a Shaw-Woods tandem is sort of like a Dorsey-Favorite one, but probably better.

Also, you seem to be up to date with who is getting offered, what RB's are getting offered? I know Murphy is, but what about Brown, Williams, Scott, and Allen? I think I heard that Scott is and Brown is not (and that he'll be headed to OU too). I doubt Allen gets an offer, seems like a waste of a scholarship, but Williams is huge, he could be an intriguing guy. Louisiana is absolutely loaded with talent at RB this year.

There are some who think Miles will offer Shaw as an OL as well as Washington. I think Mile smay have gotten the DL's he already wants in addition to maybe one or 2 others he has offered. We do have a lot of beef at LSU already and I think we need several OL. Expect Miles to try and talk some more of the stud DL's to come in to play OL if he isn't excited about the Ol's we have a good shot at.

Murphy and Scoot have both been offered by Miles along with some out of state Rb's. Brown has not been offered yet. It's a shame we always seem to have too many great ones on some classes in Louisiana. Brown may be offered later on though.

I doubt Brown will still be around later on, he is getting a lot of attention from some big schools, he will probably make a commitment early and I doubt Miles would waste his time. I think Murphy and Scott are going to be locks for LSU. I'm also sort of intrigued by this Jarius Wright kid from Tara, the fullback, but with Korte getting a scholarship last year I don't know if Miles will offer.

Seems like we've taken a good fullback every year. And they could also be moved to LB or elsewhere if they didn't work out at fullback. Who is he, I couldn't find any info on him.

My intial thought was a switch to LB too, but he is on the short side, he is listed at 6'0. I wish that Korte would've accepted a move to LB, 6'2/230/4.6 would've made him an ideal LB.
