I tend to think he will. It's just a matter of which city. I'm guessing the Giants, but wouldn't rule out Cleveland. Their latest win will be a distant memory after losing all of their games for a couple of months.
Someone on another board started a 'Charlie Weis is so fat' thread where the posters filled in their own punchline. The funniest ones I saw were 'he wore a Malcolm X t-shirt and a helicopter landed on it' and 'he popped his Air Jordans'. :hihi:
Give it a few months, and see if The Chin and The Gut don't team up in Cleveland or the Meadowlands...
Lucky for me, NEITHER of these seem likely at this point. If my Fins can keep their focus on circling the drain, Huizenga would be crazy to not look at Cowher. Hopefully the Fins can keep John Beck healthy and continue to lose. At this early stage in the draft evaluation process, I don't see a lock for the #1 overall pick, so perhaps they should win a couple of games. But that may prevent them from firing Cameron to make room for Cowher. Cameron may be a fine coach in the long run, but I'd much rather a HoF coach. Oh, and a professional General Manager. I'm not optimistic about the latter, since they haven't had a competent one in about a decade. Seriously, a decade.
Cowher is a defensive coach and wants nothing to do with that zoo down in Miami. They have no semblance of a D. If the Giants don't go far in the playoffs, he will land there. Cleveland's head coach appears to be ok for now. I think if they go 8-8, they will look at that as marked improvement and won't fire him. I say he lands in Philly, Pennsylvania fans adore him. He will fit right in. Reid will be gone after this season and it will be his chocie.
