True, but on the field he wasn't very effective. Then again the whole O line underperformed during his time in the stick, and our O line coach left little to be desired, so, maybe that had a lot to do with it as well.
Will Blackwell @WillyB602d My initial tweet was a poor intent at comedy. I would never compare LM to KK in terms of success. I love LSU and always will. We all make mistakes and do/say things that we later regret. This was no different. AT least he manned up.
He sounds like a bunch of Tiger fans. Saying that the guy who has seen LSU through the greatest run in it's history is holding LSU back. Unreal.
I can't get too upset with Blackwell. We've all vented over that game at some point or another. I'm a friggin' huge Les fan, but he lost us a national championship game. Everybody knows it. Even Les. "If I had it to do over, I would have done it differently." -- Les Miles
You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present."
This is true, but being currently in Baton Rouge, I watched some old LSU games on C S T the last couple of days. Games with Jeff Wickersham from '84 and '85 and the '04 Oregon State debacle with Marcus Randall (and Saban). It made Jefferson not look so bad. Basically, we're in the midst of unprecedented success at LSU. Those tweets were in poor taste, and I wish that young people would consider that once something is on the Internet, it's always there, and you can't really take back what you said.
