Didn't Les flip some big tackle who was a commit to Michigan and that's why Lloyd Carr doesn't like Miles?
The dislike is older than that. Rumor is that Lloyd Carr cheated on his wife way back when. Mrs. Carr was best friends with Mrs. Miles. So, Mrs. Carr was invited to stay with the Miles' while she figured out if she and Carr would stay together. Lloyd got pissed that Les would take her side.
I had heard there was some rumor to that effect. Also, some insiders say that Carr didn't like Miles because he felt that Bo favored Miles when he and Carr where on staff together at Michigan.
And Les got RP to come where he wasn't coming when Saban was recruiting him. I think it was RP. Either him or some other high profile recruit.
