You're new here. Know this: If I tell you there's cheese on the moon, go getcha crackas. I'll letcha slide this time but next time I may phuck you all up so go, and be warned.
No Not really, they had a lot of good pieces but they were far from "stacked" Go back and look at the first roster Saban took over, you have Robert Royal, Craig Nall, Rohan Davey, Ryan Clark, Domnick Davis, Josh Reed, (who Saban moved to WR), Trev Faulk, Bradie James, as NFL talent.... The roster had a lot of good/great players but it lacked a lot of depth
Norman LeJune, Chad Lavalias, Corey Webster (moved to CB by Saban) 00/01 roster http://www.lsusports.net/SportSelec...G=C&DB_OEM_ID=5200&SORT_ORDER=6&Q_SEASON=2000
Maybe someone can show me where Lavalias, Webster among other from the 99/00 roster http://www.lsusports.net/SportSelec...D=2164&DB_OEM_ID=5200&DB_LANG=C&Q_SEASON=1999
Why? I haven't touched the thread title, per se. The point you and I are debating is whether or not he had a lot of talent when he got here. It's clear he did.
Saban doesn't rely on depth until the starters have secured the win. Then he'll send in his backups to draw the personal foul calls and write the apology notes the following week.
