no, the team is not as exciting as they have been recently. and im not suggesting we all start "no negative comments threads" and "were 4-0 so stfu threads"...those are just as annoying. but the offseason is really, really long. and the football season is really, really short. i suggest you miserable ****s enjoy it, because before you know it super tuesday will be on and we'll be forced to watch wisconsin score maybe fifty points in basketball.
Hmmm...a team that has a new DC and scheme and a Sophomore QB who has started all of 5 games now and we are 4-0. Sorry if I don't get worked up no matter how we play. As long as this team plays with heart and fire I'm behind them. Do I get upset over bad play? Of course but a win is a win and we seem to be finding ways to do it. Sounds like any other season since 2001 to me.

The way things are going we will most likely lose to Florida & Bama, but it isn't a given. The rest we can beat. I haven't seen any SEC team other than the two above that are better.:LSU231: PS This is a young team. We will get better.
Agree. Anything can happen (case in point MSU almost winning). I want to win the NC every year, but if it doesn't happen, I don't ignore the program and I'm not gonna stop talKing, reading, and writing LSU football.
As good as we were in 2006-2007 we could have easily been 9-4. We have close games every season and in 2007 we lost to Ark and Kentucky.... The Miss state game could be our Ark and KU. I still say just give them time b/c once this team hits its stride,(and they will) we will all be so so happy.... It's comming.. Hell, look how the 2009 baseball started out......
IMO the number of games a QB has started does not mean as much as it used to. These days, REALLY good QB's can play at any time, period. The Alabama QB has started less games and in fact he ONLY started for one year in HS. He is managing th game because the rest of the team is good enough to win the game with minimal mistakes. In the case of LSU, I think most of the time the reverse is true. Our time is running out.:geaux:
