I PERSONALLY AM SURPRISED AT HOW FAST THE LSU PROGRAM HAS FALLEN, SEEMS TO BE HEADING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION IMO. WILL MILES BE GONE IF NEXT YEAR IS MORE OF THE SAME?
Has the program fallen? I don't recall consecutive losing seasons in recent memory... Did Florida fall last year? Can a PROGRAM fall in just one less-than spectacular season? Hey, if any of you are season ticket holders, let me know when you completely give up because I would LOVE to have your seats! :dis:
oh please! We have no QB to help hide the fact that our Defense sucks. Florida last year had a freaking Heisman QB to help hide a chitty defense and still lost 4 games. Next year, the Co-DCs will be gone and we should be at least a little better at QB than we are this year. That alone changes the outcomes of the Bama and UGA games this year.
I don't think it is the fact LSU has lost 4 games, but instead, HOW THEY LOST them and the fact that is fairly obvious that coaching this year came up short, especially on defense. How many on this forum would have said the defense would be this bad with many of the SAME players. I also think many fans have a feeling of deju vu', perhaps we have seen the best of times and fear a return to Dinardo type teams.:geaux:
While I want to share lsufaninohio's optimism and faith, I must admit that TCU makes credible points here for which I concur. It is the way many of our losses have come, the way we have struggled to win lately when we are playing lesser opponents (Troy), all of this on the heels of 3 coaching regimes that took down a decade of Tiger football. Saban built a complete program and CLM has maintained the flock, but what many of us fear is whether these last few games are the beginning of the Archer-Hallman-Dinardo debacle. I truly hope not. You know, Archer is the defensive coord at NC St. - maybe we can get him to come back:dis::dis::lol::lol:
