The thing that keeps me from buying into this theory hook, line and sinker is that it took only one bad year(2008) to make changes to the defense. The offense has been stagnant since that year as well. I actually think that because we went 8-5 in 2008 is why the change was made so quickly. In a way, going 11-2 and 13-1 the past two years maybe has stunted our growth on offense. Maybe the record has allowed Les to "ignore" the problems on offense? I don't know, but I sure hope we make changes. I feel like every year we don't, we let another possible shot at a National title go to waste. Sucks. I think Les is capable of Greatness if he would just get out of his own way.

I've still yet to see a crossing route. 6 games into the season and no evidence of just one crossing route in the playbook. It can't be our offense is THAT vanilla, heh?

I mean I'm not even asking for anything near spectacular. We have NO offensive game plan....NONE.

I'll say it again because no one has seen my post that I am aware of, Gary Crowton, everyone blamed him for this offense then he was released or left. I don't think the offense has been any different since he left. At this point I don't believe the offensive coordinator is the problem because the offense is just about the same. Streaky at best. I would agree his record speaks for itself and it is hard to criticize him because of it.

Or it could be that both Crowton and Stud suck as OC.

We don't need to get rid of CLM. I mean, come on guys, be rational. It's one game. What we need is a NEW devoted OC, and a new DEVOTED O-line coach. Agree that CLM needs to give the reigns to this new OC coach. Having said that, LSU still controls things. Win out, and we are at the top, bottom line. With the offense we have fielded thus far, I know that seems farfetched, but CLM has produced before when people doubted him. I am hearing a lot of doubters here. Gotta maintain faith.

The question is, do we get rid of Les if he won't make a change on offense? If it translates into losses and continued ugly play, maybe we do.

No, as long are winning games, and contending for the SEC West, Les will always be our coach. TAF and Alleva need to step in and demand a change on offense.

If our offense doesn't improve, I see fan support (money) hitting a ceiling. Excitement around the program isn't very intense these days, it seems to me.

Pars ... you know as well as anybody else that LSU has won the last few years on Defense and Special Teams.

Granted, last year, the first 8 games looked pretty good offensively, but that changed as soon as Miles found an excuse to change it.

Look at our receivers this year. .. Not a stellar receiver in the bunch. They are all good slot backs, but no real, NFL quality WRs in the bunch. IMO, the reason we don't attract the real receivers is because we have no pass game. I mean .. why come to LSU so you can learn to block, when you can go to any other team in the SEC and actually get to the catch the ball.
