In other words, you're still guessing and speculating, like everyone else. You're no longer worth wasting my time. Bye now.
Nobody outside the sec (Alabama really) wants a rematch. People are already over this "SEC Dominance" No way there is a rematch. Just my thoughts, and if OKST, OU, Oregon, Stanford, Bama, and Boise all have one loss, OU gets the nod IMO. It is BS but the Voters slob Stoops knob and won't want a rematch
Assuming we win out, which includes winning the SECCG, why should we have to play that extra game while Bama is sitting home waiting? Rematch makes no sense. :geauxtige
I believe it's been said many times over the last several years that if you don't win your conference, you don't go to the ship. If LSU wins out, they'll meet another conference winner.
Exotic .... Computers only carry 1/3 weight in the BCS. If the Harris puts OU #2, Bama #3 Coaches put OU #2, Bama #3 .. .it doesn't matter what the computer says .... it's maximum input is 1/3, and OU would go to the dance. And ..THIS is exactly what I forsee happening. OU is as much a media darling as Bama. LSU has ruined the media's dream of a Bama/OU championship game, so now the Media has to choose which of their darlings they want in the game. It will be OU.
Not exactly correct. If the computers had OU low enough, it could bring their average down from number two. I bet ISLSTL could tell us how low a team would have to be ranked by the computers in order to drop them to number 3 if that team was ranked 2 in both human polls. (Hint: this is a plea for help)
Alabama actually has an easier path to the championship game then we do. Sure, they don't control their own destiny, but Stanford is likely to lose to Oregon and no one would be surprised if OU beats Ok St. If that happens and Bama wins out, they probably get the BCS nod, without the potential stumbling block of a conference championship game. That ain't right. No way there should be a rematch.
