ill direct my anger at all of them. the corporations for putting profit above everything ethical, and the politicians who made the laws because they were paid off by the corporations. vicious cycle fuck em all.

It's not wrong to value profit over lassallles version of ethics. It's wrong to force your will on other people. If you neglect everything in you life and just work because all u care about is money, that is fine, I don't have to associate with you. But if you are forcing me to buy health insurance like Obama does that is unethical.

What if you were stricken with colon cancer and your treatments totalled up to $150,000. You would be "forced" to pay it much more than Obama will "force" you to buy health insurance (which really isn't very pricey....I'd guess you could get insurance today for about $165 mo. and after 2014 for even less).

so it's ok to put money over public health? It's ok to put money over lives? It's ok for a company to make up some bullshit so they don't have to render services paid for? And just so you know, no one is forcing anyone to buy health insurance. Read the bill. There is a penalty for those who don't, but you know what happens if they choose to continue going without health insurance? Nothing.

i have 150k which i would be more than happy to pay for colon cancer treatment. is your point that i should be forced to pay for other people? thats what insurance is.

i would rather figure out why health care costs so much and fix that. i have been researching it and i have some ideas but it is vercomplicated and the obama plan doesnt solve it.

i went to the normal (non-pediatrician or orthopedic surgeon) doctor for the first time in my life in december. apart from the occasional sports injury i am incredibly healthy and need very little money for health care. should i not be able to enjoy the fruits of my healthy lifestyle by paying the actual costs of my health care rather than getting involved with whatever boondoggle of a system the government has cooked up?

also i dont buy that health insurance will be cheaper in 2014.

for who? me? yes. i dont give the slightest fuck about public health. the average person is an asshole that cant be bothered to jog a mile once a year and sits on his couch chuckling at two and a half men. people in general are a fucking embrassment. fat bastards. i dont want to be involved with their expenses and the cancers and shit they get fro eating taco bell every meal.

of course. if you need 10 dollars to live i dont have to give it to you. i dont care about you.

no, that is fraud and we have plenty of laws in place to prevent it.

yes, i have heard this. sounds like useless legislation from your friend barry. cajun sensation thinks it will lower prices.

lasalle. imagine every dollar put into health care in america is instead sent to africa to stop malaria and aids. this would save far (like 10x) more people. is it right for us to spend that money here when it could save lives? think why it is ok and you will understand.

is it right for me to buy a ticket to the dark knight when i could take that same money and use it to help fund a paramilitary force that would kill corrupt world leaders and therefore end oppression? or shouldnt i take that money and use it to pay hookers that will fuck and blackmail politicians that favor the farm bill that leads to death and poverty for africa? is my goal to maximize human happiness, or is there value in fairness and justice of me keeping what is mine?
