medica exactly. medical marijuana and marijuana are two different things legally. you said above that he was specifically for outlawing medical marijuana, which may be true, but he didnt say that in your clip.
He was talking about medical marijuana and in the same breath he said "If you elect me President, you're not going to see legalized marijuana. I'm going to fight it tooth and nail." That's how I understood it anyway.
nothing about what he said implied he has the power or inclination to outlaw medical marijuana. no real difference between his stance and obama so its a useless point when deciding who to vote for.
Personally, I don't care about marijuana laws. I don't smoke it and I wouldn't even if it were legalized. Just a personal preference. I saw the video that way and still do.....that being said, I don't give a shit. But I would like to get LaSalle in on it b/c he is so passionate about weed. That's why I posted it in this thread. MF'er is probably on his 12th bong rip of the day as I type this.
i do not smoke either. its terrible. it is a very important issue and i think it is insane that people dont care more about it. my uppity white idiot new york friends want a fucking award for having gay friends and flood facebook with pleas for gay marriage legality and shit, like its some huge issue that people who suck each others cocks cant get the proper paperwork filled out. meanwhile the guy who sucks joints instead of cocks is literally thrown in a cage and has every bit of his freedom taken. its a huge issue. HUGE. but the next president no matter who he is isnt gonna do a damn thing one way or another because it isnt politically expedient. people care about stupid nonsense and presidents will devote their attention to other things. mitt is the btter candidate because he will increase the aggregate utility of the world through better economic policy, thats why you should vote for him. actually you shouldnt vote because it is a waste of your time. but if your vote mattered you should vote for mitt over obama.
Well, let's see, hurt me directly or hurt someone I know which has indirectly hurt me? My wife has recently been diagnosed with Lupus. Her dermatologist seems to think that it was caused by one of the drugs she was prescribed by her doctor for another ailment. So there, corporations who don't give a fuck about the repercussions. That's an example in my family. There are hundreds of thousands of other families that have been destroyed by drug corporatations alone. Hundreds of thousands of people in the United States are in jail right now because of Dow Chemical and other corporations, which vigorously lobbied to have marijuana made illegal because they just didn't a natural plant competing with their nylon for rope, medicine, and as a drug in direct competition with alcohol and tobacco. Oil is a natural substance, sure it comes from decayed plant matter and other carbon based organisms, but it destroys eco systems when 40,000 or 50,000 barrels are spilled. You know what? A corpse is bio friendly too but i'm not gonna go dumping corpses in a habitated area either. If a guy named Joe had dumped 40,000 barrles of oil into yellowstone, he would have arrested and spent the rest of his life in jail. Exxon does it, and oh.... no biggie. Coprorations are people right? Hang that fucker. Look, I realize that you want to live in the Blade Runner movie set, where Corporations control everything, including what you think, but don't worry, we aren't that far off. That's not me. You talk about personal responsiblity, but given the chance, corporations will eliminate you to even have a choice to choose to be responsible. As far as Mitt Romney goes, this dude needs to be launched into outer space, straight into the sun. Fuck him, and fuck anyone who thinks imprisoning people for smoking marijuana is the right thing to do.
how is the mistake your doctor made, and your poor choice of a doctor, related to some evil corporation? was our doctor supposed to assume lupus and not treat yor lady? was there a superior alternative treatment? how do you know all this? the corporations didnt make marijuana illegal, the leaders you voted for did. you dont seem to understand that corporations do not make or enforce laws. a corporation call tell me all day what to do but i wont have to listen unless some lawmakers vote it into law. the government is the scary entity. i dont want to live where corporations control what i think, cant happen. in fact i would like to see those fuckers try. my favorite thing on earth is to be vigorously opposed to popular mindsets. do you think oil is lost on purpose? and who do you think is providing that il that gets you to work? i dont give a damn because i pay crazy high rent to live in a city with trains, but you have a car and you get to have a bigger place with a backyard. do you know who is providing the means for you to do that? big oil. otherwise you could never afford that car and home.
correct. yu should always direct your anger at the folks that make the laws, not the corporations that take advantage of those laws. of course corpoartions are about proft. we are not 4 years old, we know this. thats fine. the government is the entity that can force their will on you. they are the one that arrests the pot smoker. corporations cant make me do or not do anything. i dont hold it against them that they offer me things like jobs or crap that i dont want because i am not a mindless consumer of crap.
