Oh, I wasn't thinking of the market value of the stadium. I guess since it is public property it can't really be considered in the value of financial gaines the program makes per year.

For the well prepared and fiscally responsible, a recession is nothing but one big garage sale.

Size has nothing to do with it (in this case :)). Schools living within their means will be just fine. Schools overextending themselves and taking huge risks? Well, they may not be just fine.

    Sounds familiar...

I bet we'd be in even better shape if Huey Long were still alive and in office !!!:hihi:. Now, there was a governor who would stop at nothing to get what's best for LSU.

Heck, If he were alive today, there would probably be a state law that required competing coaches and recruiters from other SEC schools like Alabama and Tennessee to be dipped in insecticide baths (complete immersion) before they set foot inside Louisiana so as to rid themselves of leeches, ticks and other external parasites. That may be why Kiffen and Orgeron had to leave the SEC...those two parasites would have probably just dissolved in such a chemical bath never to emerge and be heard from again..
