Why is there a perception we had a two QB system ?

Why do people think Miles had a 2 QB system?
We never had a 2 QB system.
Look at facts. Miles was forced in the middle of the season to have a two QB system when JJ came back and we bought his "We want to stick to a 2 QB system as it is working" line hook line and sinker.
But seriously when did we EVER have a 2 QB system. I recall a system that had a few packages for a Dual threat QB. But JJ was always the QB.

JJ started and played every meaningful snap after the Bama game. Prior it was all Lee. Last two years always JJ.
Did we have a two QB system in the UGA game, Arkansas game, or the game we dare not mention?
Not that I recall. Every press conference we heard "Lee will play in this game" or "We have packages for the other QB" but once the ball kicked off NONE of that ever happened...

We had JJ he was our QB the entire game as soon as he got "his job" back. Most of us myself included never wanted to see him ever take another snap but face facts so we convinced ourselves we have a two QB system but Miles was not executing it. No we never had a two QB system. We had a 1 QB system, one who sadly was not very good.
Miles doesnt support a two QB system. JJ was the QB. I think once we come to that conclusion the anger over Lee not playing might subside.
We had a one QB system. Miles and staff chose Jefferson for the last 3 years.

 

Last season we did, this season we did for a few games, then starting the little sister of the poor team we played that made us look stupid for a while, was it Western Kentucky, it was obvious Jarrett Lee had been demoted to backup.

 

Really? Look at Lee's attempts in the last 4 years ? in 09 he threw 16 times, last year 54.

Call it a 2 QB system or call it QB controversy. Whichever you choose it still doesn't change the fact that it sucked and kept our offense from having a true identity and it also prevented us from getting into any kind of offensive rhythm.

 

Yeah, I think both years we ran a 2 qb system for only a handful of games, I think after WVU last season we started running a 2 qb for a few games, and then stopped. Same with this season, so you are right, for the most part it's been a 1 qb system with the back up getting playing time.
