Seriously, what did you expect to see when you posted this? There are numerous other threads about how horrible the team is. If you've followed the program for any length of time you know Miles won't publicly throw the team or individual players under the bus, even if he personally believes they aren't performing to expectations or flat-out suck. The issues you bring up have been picked apart and rehashed and discussed endlessly here. This kind of thing adds nothing to the conversation, so don't act surprised when people react negatively. Please also consider that if coaches knew the secret to permanently maintaining a college dynasty, programs like Nebraska, Miami, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, etc. would still be ruling the roost. I sometimes wonder if our fans truly appreciate the full extent of how badly Perrilloux screwed up the offensive development of this team. We're still reaping those rewards 2 years later and may continue to do so. Jefferson was a 3rd string QB last year, don't expect him to turn into Joe Montana or Dan Marino in less than a year. Sometimes the unexpected and unforeseen do happen to a program. Sometimes those highly touted players coming out of high school don't pan out. Sometimes a player or unit that looks great in practice just can't put it together on the field. You can't always get the best of everything, that's life.
Those on here for the last 2 weeks ranting: Take a breath. Remember 2001? I remember that we were not impressive at all, starting out. We lost to Tennesee (26-18), Fla (44-15) and beating a bad (2-7) Kentucky team 29-25. I remember being glad that our game against Auburn was moved to the end of the year due to 9-1-1 because we were going to get skulldrugged. We improved all year, went 10-3, SEC champs. So chill out, it's early. Let's see what happens.
