Miss State has not played us tough in about 30 years!!!! Look it up....I am not kidding....I will bleed purple and gold tell the day I die. Two National Championships in my lifetime is more than I will ever ask. Washington got trashed by Stanford.....USC is never the indicator for SEC football. Just get ready for another 5-6 loss year. Unless we bring in some major talent on both lines.
:rolleye33: I don't know why I bother... Life must be tough for those of you who find so many faults in a 4-0 team...
The bigger question is WHY do we have a young O-line? With the talent we have accumallted over the last 5 years????? I believe we have got the best skill positions wrapped up, just not the line to go with it.
(I hate to get involved, but..) Not since Jackie Sherrill. In the last nine meetings LSU has outscored MSU 374-105. That doesn't include last Saturday's game so MSU hasn't been in the habit of playing us tough for some time. Not taking sides, I'm just saying...
I LOVE LSU football. Just call a Spade a Spade. Unless some miracle happens this is going to be a long year.
So maybe this is one of the seasons Miss St decided they were tired of being pushed around. I just think everyone is ignorant of the fact that they do play in the SEC and field a good team. Croom turned out to be a bust but look for this coach to have them playing up to a higher level. He proved it in this game. With that I give up...I won't bother you whiners in your misery. I'll sit back and let your enjoy it.
Valid question (especially since Leslie's background is as an o-line coach and former lineman), but I honestly don't follow recruiting close enough. Maybe Bhelm could weigh in?
