It's a shame, but internet message boards are like that. Gnomes who wouldn't dare cast insults to a person's face just hide behind their anonymous keyboards and say anything they want on the net. You have to protect yourself if you're a sensitive type and develop a bit of a hard shell on the net . . . 'cause the jerks ain't going anywhere. Communicate with the characters you like and ignore the ones you dislike. In time, if no one responds to them, the jerks will find another place to get their rocks off.
