I know I know... but after 2 full seasons + bowl games... i'm tired of the broken record excuses, he's the head coach and needs noones permission to get things done... so why hasn't he? But you are right, there were some nice changes in the game... like Sheps run and JJs throw to RR. just wish we'd see more of that.
+1. I was as pissed as anyone Saturday night. I had difficulty understanding how we could play so well for 30 minutes and so poorly for 30 minutes. By Sunday morning a small dose of reality began to set in and I began to grasp the fact that it was the first game, on the road, against a top 20 opponent, who was dealing with off the field problems and would probably be sky high. By mid afternoon I began to realize that these are 18-22 year old young men we are talking about and they have issues/problems/concerns that might effect their performance on the field. They don't always bring their A game. By Monday morning I began to grasp the fact that even though it was a "ugly" W in my eyes, it was a W and we were 1-0. Were there still some things in my mind I wasn't happy with? Sure. But I began to think that maybe, just maybe, the coaches and players could make some progress this week and eliminate some of those things that Coach COTiger had picked up on. By Tuesday morning, Coach COTiger had just about forgotten all of that perceived/real stuff that had him so upset Saturday night. And he was actually looking forward to Saturday night and putting an a** whuppin on the Commodores. It's amazing what the passing of 60 hours will do for the old ball coach. I don't have my process patented so feel free to use it. Trust me, it works.
I'm fully aware these are 18-22 yr. olds, their not the problem. yeah they made some mistakes, but i'm sure their kicking themselves harder for their performance than any of us could, they'll do what they need to amongst themselves to correct things. I'm pissed off at the people who are making millions running the program. I attended LSU in '95, buy a ton of LSU memora, half my wardrobe is LSU if not more, I attend 3-4 games a year buying tickets through the school, and then even more in their school store. I expect more out MY LSU dollars.
Nice reply dipchit... but for the money these guys are making for the finished product we're seing on the field... others in the same school system are losing thier professions with budget cuts... all I meant was sooner or later we should see a bigger return for the money or it should be their cans. If you can't understand that then you're living off of someones elses money and have no clue what responsibility is.
a) you don't have to spend them. It would be one way to affect the change you are looking for but it would take A LOT of other people to do the same thing. b) if all you care about is bang for your buck, try being a boise state fan for a while. Then, if they start slipping, you could try Bama or Ohio State.
