All of you "fans" drunk on purple koolaid still aren't getting it. It's not about the win... it's about "HOW" we won. It's become the MO of LSU football for 2 years now. We've been hearing about the same "problems" facing this team over and over... I, like many others are just fed up with the excuses and apparent lack of doing something about it. Look at our recruiting classes year in and year out... if the problem isn't the talent level of this team... it leaves only one other variable... coaching.
Hey Zone it's all good We love our Tigers and we only want the very best. I can't hate on Les with the crowd this week. I thought we brought a very young team to play a very upper class team. UNC has a 5th year QB and a beast of a D. They had problems with players not being able to play but that is not our problem It comes down to just 3 plays. I was at the game and we had the Tar Heels dead before we run into the kicker. PP returned that punt to the 50 and we had a 7 - 0 lead at that time. They took the ball all the way down the field and scored and made it 7 -7! thats #1 2nd half we move all the way down the field and it's 1st and goal on the 8 yardline. Fumble - should have been 37 to 10 ! thats #2 They score and make it 17 to 30 - we get the ball move down the field and #34 makes his best run and it's 37 to 17! We get a very bad holding call ----- thats #3 All I hear is how stupid CLM is, he still can't call a time-out !!! The clock moved from 21 seconds to 15 seconds , come on people. This hate on the winnest coach in LSU history over any 5 years is just crazy. One game at a time and Vandy is next.
I am slowly but surely getting over the way we won on Saturday and looking ahead to Vandy. Found some sunshine in Miles telling us that we fielded 18 players who had never played a snap of college football.
