Why doesn't Lee deserve a second chance?

I don't think he needs to be started but I mean could he not get some playing time? I guess the biggest problem is that we have had to struggle for every win we have gotten and never had the opportunity to put other guys in for clean up....not even ULM or whatever they are called these days.

We threw Lee into the fire too soon and we are doing the same thing to JJ and what do we hope to accomplish that way. JL came in a few plays so far when JJ got dinged and he looked sharp. Give the kid a chance. You don't have to make him THE guy but he deserves another shot after being hung out to dry last year. If not now....when?

Never. JL had an entire season of chances and was consistently terrible. You guys act like we just got blown out by an unranked team. Get a grip. Threads like this just reaffirm my decision not to read this forum on gamedays.

I wish you guys were as passionate about firing bad politicians as you are about freaking football coaches after a tight game with the #1 team in the land.

I bet there were opposite threads like this last year. Because people wanted JJ in and JL was crucified.

But how you fools can say its the coaches fault is beyond me. Maybe the players aren't getting it. What if JJ is built to be the way he is. Everyone says he was awesome in the bowl game. Wasn't CLM the coach then? Get off it.

How is it that kids know more than professionals?

I'm a huge Lee supporter and I think it would be awesome to see him throw a bomb to TT or somebody. But I don't get paid to make decisions.

In my mind, if the QBs are so close in talent level to one another and the QB that is playing is struggling mightily, you give the other QB a chance to spell the guy on the field. Sticking with one QB doesn't give the young struggling Lee/Jefferson a break and chance to see things from the sideline. I think our coaches are wrong on this one.

Our offense did get blown out. 3 points and 160 yards of offense in front of the biggest crowd ever to see LSU play.

And don't know what you're talking about. Lee has more experience than Jefferson and deserves a shot. We've already been through the worst of his troubles last year. Nobody is saying that Lee needs to start the rest of the season because he's still unproven but any coach worth his salt will do what it takes to win and Jefferson wasn't getting it done at all.

The #1 ranking doesn't mean squat. Florida came to Death Valley and we had a good enough team to win but didn't execute.

I'm just helping to stir the pot, but he did have almost 2000 yards passing and 15 TDs or some ****.

Lee holds the all-time NCAA career record for pick-6's... and he did it all in one year.

Yes but... like I said last season... some of those were bobbled or popped up by the reciever... not all were his fault.

Poorly managed by coaching staff, and they're doing the same damn thing this year.

Jefferson seemingly is on the same path. Coaches made Lee throw too much but the offense still was there. Jefferson isn't throwing any real passes, has less mistakes but the offense is dead. Something needs to happen
