It's game 8 in the season, the team leads the NFL with having given up 35 sacks (5 sacks per game coming into tonight's game), and the OC still has not adjusted to allowing his QB the best chance at succeeding.

He needs to have his QB take 3 step drops with quick release passes, roll him out to open up the field of view, etc.

Instead, Walters takes 7 step drops with pass plays that take an outrageous amount of time to develop.

Again, I ask, why does this OC still have a job?

At least Brian Billick had enough sense to get rid of his. And look how they turned things around.

PS - The Seahawks already have 7 sacks and it's only halftime.

If I ran a search using "islstl" and "fired" I would get every one of your threads.

How the hell does Art Shell still have a job? Michelle Tafoya just said when she asked him what they have to do to protect the QB, he replied "I don't know what more we could do"

Ever heard of the shotgun formation?

    Except this thread....

Regarding the Raiders... Is Art Shell a ventriloquist? I've never seen him talking on the sidelines. He just stands there and stares. Maybe he is talking but not moving his mouth.

The seven step drop sounds like a message straight from the Raider Godfather. Al Davis loves nothing more than the track star at WR and the 60 yard pass. He really values nothing else.

I just hope the Raiders get a great draft pick so they can take the CB with the best 40 time. Imagine Leinart playing there this year. OK, yea it wouldnt be much different.
