Why does it seem that everyone is panicking over this Class?

Yeah, that is good perspective. As typical, the most recent events are what people mostly remember. Most of the commitments were so early that some lost sight of the quality that ultimately signed.

True. An the two camps he went to after his Jr. year? Tenn and bama, an both never offered?

I went back an looked at the first class Les signed:

    1-5*------Kicked off team.RP.
    8-4*------6 of the 8 players. 75%
    3-3*------2 of 3. 66%
    1-2*------1 of 1. 100%

We only signed 13 players that year, they did a good job of using that talent.

People put way too much stock in the star system. Jai Eugene and Al Woods were both 5 stars. This class did exactly what LSU needed, got some depth at qb, filled some holes and went heavy on our weakness on the defensive side, Linebacker. Well done Coaching Staff.

Yep, added depth. Like I said before, on this roster now we have no Srs. in the QB, RB, CB and Saftey positions. This is young team with lots of playing time.
