Guys like Skip Holtz and Turner Gill get on short lists for coaching jobs, not the big time coaches like Miles and Mack Brown. Special circumstance, kind of like Michigan going after Miles. Ultimately, Miles said no, Kiffin said yes. Depends on the person, but certain coaches at certain programs wouldn't leave for all the money in the world. Guys like Frank Beamer, Mack Brown and Les Miles. These are the guys who schools don't even bother with trying to raid anymore. Kiffin does not fall in that category, because he was a proven scumbag before then.
Unfortunately for us, Miles phucked up his opportunity to go to the school at which he's openly admitted wanting to coach. Low & behold, it was a "timing" issue. :lol: What about Houston Nutt?

This is not the 70's and 80's. Coaches just do not stay anywhere very long due to the money. Schools are always looking for an upgrade.
