That is why you'll only get that much if you win the lottery....it takes ambition drive and smarts mixed in with good fortune to get to where Les and other top coaches have. They don't do it for the money (yes its nice and all) but for the high of fighting, winning and being on top of the game. If they did it for the money they'd never get there.
Les interviewed in sweats. His wife had a coat, tie and pants, but forgot his shirt. Every coach tells his team he's not going anywhere when he's being interviewed. Every college tell reporters they are going in another direction, when a coach turns them down. It's fun to talk with coaches about how they ended up at a school, or how things just didn't work out. Everyone remembers when DC John Thompson was hired at LSU, that job lasted what, three weeks? Sometimes you just have to read between the lines, or get it from the horses mouth.
And his HIGHLY inefficient offensive system that HE ADMITTED he had to change and did it for a "price" alot cheaper than LSU is paying for the same "service".
What Lets just put this back on the "front page" for the non-believers. BTW, not sure how ANYONE can say that offensive "performance" against Arkansas was anything but the worst display of the day..........easily. "We" can now say we have a game that rivals N.O. for worst embarrassment ever seen at LSU. Good night.
Who the hell loves him? The night he won the championship 40% of our fan base would have been glad to see his stammering tail leave town. I doubt the romance has increased.
I knew we were in trouble Leslie's first game when he came out in the Madonna headset- 'Vogue Vogue Vogue'
